What: Games, music, food, craft projects, education and FUN!
The High Point Neighborhood Association hosted a celebratory picnic and parade in honor of the opening of the West Seattle Bee and Pollination Garden. We closed a portion of 31st Ave SW for the event - primarily for vendors, food merchant and educational programs.
The mission of the Bee Garden includes nature, arts, education and promoting health for our youth.
The picnic! Holy smokes! Some amazing people came! Kite makers, face painting, the viewing of the new garden, bee art, to seeds from Vincent van Gogh's grave... The Tallboys serenaded the festivities, and wie enjoyed food from awesome food trucks.
We hope to see you there! Everyone is welcome!
